Katie, from the Neckerman Agency will talk for about 30 minutes about life and disability insurance. She was our speaker the day we had the snow day so we wanted to give her a chance to present.
Brunch: If you would like to bring a healthy snack or brunch item please do! Bring the recipe along to share.
2nd annual clean out the closet clothes drive. Bring any clothes you would like to exchange/donate and put them in the boxes labeled with sizes at the meeting Tuesday. Can be adult or kids sizes. The Community Clothes Closet only accepts kids clothes right now. Please take any extra adult clothes home with you at the end of the meeting. Tina will donate any kids clothes left over. Thanks.
Book Club meeting
May book club meeting at The Sommer House on Tuesday May 27th at 6:30PM. The book we are reading is The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian by Sherman Alexie. Copies available through the library.
Welcome to our group:
We meet the second Tuesday of each month for discussion from 8:45-10:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 310 West Main Street. If you are new to Mom's Group, park behind the church and use the door closest to the children's play area. We will have the sign-in book and name tags available near the entrance before you make your way to drop off your children. There is also an elevator in that same area that will take you upstairs near the nursery. We will gather at 8:45 to get the children situated and start our discussion meetings at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall which is in the lower level.
Dues: The dues will continue to be $10 for the year. The dues help to cover childcare costs, snacks, crafts, postage, supplies etc. Please pay your dues to Cathy Fountas.
Childcare Coverage: We ask that each member sign up at least once for coverage in the nursery and preschool class. We will have a sign-up sheet for all the meetings at the September meeting. We need a minimum of 4 people to assist with childcare each month.
We also need some people to sign up for the May meeting for childcare.
Notes from Preschool:
Please bring coats for the kids for our last meeting on May 13th. The kids will probably read a story and do a short craft then head outside.
